As Associate at FundWA, Trent is involved in all investments. Trent has been with FundWA since its founding, through his last years at the UWA. At FundWA, Trent spans across many activities including sourcing hundreds of startups, assessment, due diligence, portfolio support and fund operations. Trent has a great interest in startups across a wide range of thematics and industries, including deep technology, medical devices and therapeutics, software and AI.

 

Trent built his earliest venture capital experience whilst he was studying as a Fellow at AfterWork Ventures. Trent was an early member of the AfterWork Ventures community, which allowed him to get exposure to early-stage venture capital across Australia and New Zealand from Perth. Trent participated in deal flow screening, assessment and operations support, learning from the core investment team and the community.

 

Trent operates the West Coast Startup Jobs board, posting each week about Western Australian startups to help local startups and talent find each other.
